Cannot find \'picture.jpg\' error when opening attachment ?
Few minutes ago I started getting the error messages that Windows cannot find ‘xyz.jpg’. Make sure you typed the name correctly and try again. This message is occurred when I was trying to open an attached jpg file in windows Live Photo Gallery. I went to maintenance to “change store folder” to reset to ....Microsoft\\Windows Mail. It worked for a while and then the same problem again started. Also upgraded my IE7 to IE8 but no benefit, Appreciate your help.

People had encountered that a bug named IE8-WinMail bites the system when you install IE8. You can remove IE8 by visiting http://support.microsoft.com/kb/957700 You need to follow these simple steps, 1. Right click on the shortcut that you use to open windows mail 2. Select properties 3. In the field labeled ‘start in’ change the entered value to %UserProfile% 4. Click on OK 5. Restart the computer system and again try to open the attached documents If this does not worked then there is a chance that the attachments might be corrupted and now you need to use any professional software program that is capable to repair as well as recover the jpg files so that they can be visible by all the picture viewing softwares. You can find one easily.
