I was first try to open troubleshoot these files but no satisfying results. When I again tried to open the pictures, a message containing can’t read file header, unknown file format message appeared. I went through many forum sites where other people also have the same problem but I don’t get any particular specified answer in this situation. Please help.

Hello denial, It is a symptom of file corruption. In your case if you don’t know then any image file contains two parts, the first is file header part and second is the file data part. The header contains information about the actual file. If any corruption occurs in it then the softwares will not recognize it as a JPG file and so the JPG pictures will not be open any more. In my suggestion you have an option. The option is that you need to repair the JPG header files in order to see those pictures once again. To do so you need to use a professional Photo Recovery Software that will be capable to repair the corruption header part of the files. As per suggestions you may use the Photo Recovery Software to recover and repair the corrupted images files on your windows computer system.
